Board Governance 2017-03-09T14:38:17-05:00

We can assist you in developing a strategic framework for building a more engaged and effective Board. Some elements include by-law revisions, learning opportunities, meeting re-design, succession planning, establishing a Governance Committee, standing committee work plans, retreat planning, etc.

The following are examples of our work in Board Governance:

  • Spearheaded effort to improve the effectiveness of Capital Workforce Partner’s Board by establishing a Governance Committee responsible for member recruitment, orientation, engagement, ongoing education and performance.
  • Revamped the governance structure for the Consortium of Chief Elected Officials that oversees the Board, by creating a smaller committee to represent all 37 communities and increased education/engagement through the creation of city/town profiles.
  • Currently serving on Junior Achievement of Southwest New England’s Board and Governance Committee to develop and implement strategies resulting in a more educated and engaged Board.
